What the licence is
When your payment clears, MyLittleLore grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files in the bundle you bought. It applies to you and your household, worldwide, and it has no end date. It is not a sale of the artwork, and it may not be sold, lent, sub-licensed or assigned to anyone else.
Copyright stays with us
The art is hand-illustrated for MyLittleLore, and the copyright in every file remains with MyLittleLore. Buying a bundle buys the right to use the files as set out on this page. It does not transfer ownership of the artwork, and it does not give you the right to license it to anyone else.
Where you can print
You may print the files yourself or hand them to a print service to produce for you — a copy shop, a photo lab, or an online printer. The service prints on your behalf, for your own use. It gains no rights of its own over the files, and you should not leave copies with it beyond your order.
The licence does not travel
A print you make is a physical object you can hang or give away. The licence, though, stays with you. It does not pass to whoever receives the print, so they have no right to reproduce it. Selling printed copies is not permitted under this licence, at any scale or price.
One household, one licence
Sending the files to another person, forwarding the download link, posting them in a group, or uploading them anywhere others can reach them all count as redistribution, and none of it is permitted. If a friend wants the bundle, the honest route is a second purchase, which is what keeps a small family business running.
No training on the art
The files may not be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate generative models, and may not be added to any dataset assembled for that purpose. This applies to the digital files and to scans or photographs of prints made from them.
If the terms are broken
If the files are shared, resold or used commercially, this licence ends, and any copies must be deleted. We would far rather write to you and sort it out than take anything further, so if you think something has gone wrong, tell us first.
Updates to this page
We may revise this licence for future purchases. The terms that apply to you are the ones published here on the day you bought, so save or print a copy of this page if you would like your own record of it. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
